Project overview
Sharing the heart and soul of a passionate not-for-profit. As foster caring and community support services changed, it was time for Yorganop (Western Australia’s first Aboriginal foster care agency) to change too. They needed to evolve their brand and occupy a clearer, more meaningful position in the sector. The aim: to inspire people to become foster carers; and to broaden their carer and supporter database.
-
The project started by going back to Yorganop’s roots. To what makes them special and different; to their purpose and their beliefs. Discovery insights were turned into a new brand strategy; and the strategy was translated into a new brand identity and brand storytelling.
A custom brand platform was built, including an updated logo, new typography, a new and comprehensive visual identity system and a brand messaging suite. Each asset reflecting their heart and soul.
The new identity was brought to life across print and digital. It helped Yorganop raise their profile, differentiating them and making them clearly visible, in the community and beyond. It also helped fulfil their goal of widening their reach to new audiences, and reconnecting with existing ones.
